Skittles night at the Griffin Inn in Swithland. Would you believe Hermitage FM versus Carillon Radio. I can report there was no clear winner it's just that Pats team came out best and run rings around us in Susies team so Carillon Radio is in need of some players..... Any one for a game of scrabble?

15 Jul 2009 - Local Dignitaries out in Force

Here's a bit of news from our sister station at Hermitage FM - the coffee lounge which hosts our two stations was opened on 26 June with many dignitaries in attendace. Our MP David Taylor, Councillor Annette Bridges the chair of NW Leicestershire District Council, Ross Wilmott the leader of Leicester City Counci, Martin Henning from the Community Foundation and many local councillors. A superb night was had by all celebrating the best in community spirit.

18 Jul 2009 - New Trustees & Directors
Both Radio Stations Carillon Radio and Hermitage FM are pleased to announce the appointment of three new Trustees/Directors.

Pat Goldsmith who is a well known and respected local lady brings many skills with her. She has worked with young people and has been responsible for many youth projects and funding in the area.

Mark Powell also joins our Trustees/Directors. Mark is resident in Sheffield and is the Managing Director of several social firms including Yes2ventures and Broomby. Mark's management skills are exemplary and extensive.

We also welcome Mary Unwin to the Trustees/Directors. Mary has for many years been the volunteer services manager at our hospitals. She joins us bringing many management skills in volunteering and fundraising.
